Biblia Clerus is a very useful tool (for personal and in-depth study of the Bible) put out by the Congregation for the Clergy that offers “Sacred Scripture, its interpretation in light of Sacred Tradition and the teachings of the Magisterium, with appropriate theological commentary and exegesis.” More specifically, this FREE download allows you to install the Bible in various different languages along with the complete works of many Doctors of the Church, documents of Church Councils, Encyclicals, teachings of the Popes, Catechisms, and just a bunch of very solid resources in the Church.

The Hungry Catholic

The Hungry Catholic is a blog by Peter Liao, Ben Lu, Henry Shu, and John Ng that focuses on answering questions about the Catholic faith, sharing Catholic news and articles, and basically posting on various things Catholic.

Peter is a bioengineering graduate from UC San Diego who performed cardiology research at UCSD, and is currently a med student at Case Western. He has no formal theological training but is very interested and is content to be just a relatively intelligent wannabe :)

Ben graduated from UCSD with a B.A. in Religious Studies, and is currently a graduate student at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology (DSPT) working on his M.A. in Theology.

Henry graduated from UC Berkeley with a double-major in Molecular & Cell Biology: Biochemistry and Integrative Biology, studied philosophy at the Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas, and received his M.B.A. from the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA).

John graduated from UC Berkeley as a History Major focusing on Roman and Early Christian History and is currently a MA Theology: Biblical Studies student at the Dominican School of Philosophy and Theology (DSPT).
